Artists have used a specific number of ALIVESHOES in the creation of each work of art. Each ALIVESHOE is given a unique identification number, and a copy of the artist's original sketch is stitched inside the tongue of each shoe.
Designed and crafted in Italy, each ALIVESHOE is handmade by artisan master craftsmen to the highest standards. Created with the knowledge and traditions of shoemaking passed down in Italy's Marche region, ALIVESHOES are products of QUALITY craftsmanship, superb DESIGN, high COMFORT and fundamentally... PASSION for shoes.
ALIVESHOES are environmentally conscious, with each shoe being made from sustainable materials. Using untreated and organic natural cotton, leather and cork for the upper part of the shoe and ecologically scented foam rubber and fully biodegradable TPU polyurethane for the sole, wearing ALIVESHOES is like wearing nature itself.
All leather is hand-coloured to ensure there's no waste. In this way we've been able to give optimum vibrancy to each ALIVESHOES and combine the use of environmentally sound processes, materials and traditional shoemaking techniques when creating each ALIVESHOES.
We believe Art and Eco-fashion can connect us to the environment we live in. ALIVESHOES builds a deep relationship with the environment through Art, Design and sustainable materials.
ALIVESHOES studies Visual Consciousness.
This means that we are interested in the connections that your mind create every day, while you wear your ALIVESHOES, connections between you, the artwork chosen and the artist who created it.
Our team of neuroscientists is studying the quality of these connections and the effects they can have on your mind and body.
We believe you should add your own value and set your own price when buying ALIVESHOES.
The base cost varies from 120 to 200 EURO, you can choose an additional VALUE for the Art you are buying, in this way you're helping us to continue the ALIVESHOES project and create new artwork in the future, as well as helping us support non-profit organisations.
