About the brand and style of BLACK STAR BY SORO

BLACK STAR BY SORO which is in a Pan-African colorway is inspired by The Year Of Return 2019 Ghana.Keeping in line with the Pan-African theme for the collection , this retro low sneaker made of genuine Italianleather is as bold as can be without being loud. The red exude's a richness and the classic padding around theankle collar in black adds an element of extra comfort while the natural cotton laces in yellow are the perfecttouch. Truly a shoe fit for Kings and Queens!

About the man behind the brand: Abiola Haastrup - Akintunde

My first loves have always been fashion , music and hospitality. They have all played significant roles in my life. I developed my knack for designing growing up as a teen in Lagos, where it is common place to have your clothing custom made. My designs are heavily influenced by my life experiences and having grown up accross three different continents what you get is a blend of African, European and American flavors all in one or what we call an Afropolitan Style. Afro - Chic!
