About Bartholomeus De Meirsman designer 


About the designer Bartholomeus De Meirsman is the designer of the very first KARAKTOR shoe ever made. As a Belgian immigrant in the US and an avid traveler he brings a unique combination of European flair and style, mixed with his personal bluntness and experiences as an aspiring actor in Hollywood, CA. He grew up in a family of successful hospitality entrepreneurs in Belgium and got his Business degree in the Netherlands. Feeling bored, meaningless and disconnected from life during his years in corporate he decided to fully devote his journey to acting. A path that brought him to the US after years of exploring the world in search for truth and purpose. Bartholomeus is known to be bold, intense and different.. His life’s motto is: life begins when you start acting!
