Inspired by North American Indigenous Cultures, the "Medicine Shoe" got its name from my colour inspiration for this project the "Medicine Wheel". I am a member of Nipissing First Nations in Ontario, Canada. The main goal of my project was to create a BRAND for all Indigenous Nations, (from coast to coast, and country to country) to call their OWN and wear with PRIDE. I will be collaborating with other artists from other Indigenous Communities across Canada and the US. Bringing more creativity and different shoe designs to the shoe line, the BRAND, SK0DEN.
