The Presenter shoes are designed for the entrepreneur or keynote speaker that needs and wants that little edge. The design is based on the Harvard study: The Red Sneakers Effect: Inferring Status and Competence from Signals of Nonconformity - where they tested if non-conforming infers higher competency. These results suggest that people attribute higher status and competence to individuals who are nonconforming rather than conforming in prestigious contexts with expected norms of formal conduct.
