About Higher Vision
Higher Vision is a brand collaboration created by multimedia artist, Tyler Brooks, and producer/songwriter, Keith Ruther. Together they put all their creative influences into one style to create the Higher Vision look. Born in Michigan, Tyler Brooks (co-owner of Higher Vision Clothing) spent his formative years in the countryside of central Michigan, later moving to North Carolina. Once in North Carolina, he quickly fell in love with the southern culture. Being influenced by Detroit and New York hip hop, Michigan ruralism, and southern culture, he takes those styles with him in all of his projects. With similar transplanted roots, Keith Ruther (co-owner of Higher Vision Clothing) was born in New York and later moved to North Carolina where the two met. His influences add a progressive urbanism to the collective aesthetic of the brand. The Higher Vision brand aims to redefine streetwear and designer wear ideals drawing more from grassroots artists.
