About Vanessa
...Lieselotte Ferrin was an artist, mother, German language teacher, wife, daughter, biochemist--Hedwig adopted Lieselotte and was mother to Friederich, wife to Paul and helped run Schmidt's Kolonial Warenhandlung where they gave people dispossessed from their home's food at risk to themselves. Charlotte was Lieselotte's real mother. This is my company, I am Vanessa and I name and give life to these shoes and choose the materials and colors. Lieselotte's paintings are on some of the shoe designs and boxes (such as "Never Again"), as well as her photo. Lovely to meet you all!...
