About David Stennis
I'm David Stennis, originally I’m from Omaha Nebraska. My journey as an artist started when I was 7 selling my piece of artwork to my mother's friend. I'm a graduate of Omaha Creighton Prep High School. I then entered the army in 2008 as a chemical operations specialist. In 2009 I attended Iowa Western Community College to study preengineering. I then went on active duty in the army and was assigned to the 142nd MP company in Seoul Korea. Here I created the contamination spread diagram for the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, Japan in 2010. I then returned stateside and attached to the 1-187 infantry battalion, also known as the Rakkasan. After receiving a career-ending injury, I began work for the Department of Veteran Affairs in Phoenix Arizona. Here I established several satellite clinics as well as promoted and educated veterans on the choice program. During my employment at the Phoenix VA, I attended Grand Canyon University, where I majored in journalism and psychology. After 2018 I left the Department of Veteran Affairs to pursue a passion in the MMJ field. I proceeded to work hand in hand with Native Roots Dispensary and grow facilities, as well as several master growers in Colorado.
I live in Hawaii where I live in my passions of art, culture, and spirituality.
