About Nikita K
Creativity and imagination are at the heart of this journey. When we become parents we can lose our sense of self and become stuck in a trap of just being carers and nothing more. Life is an uphill battle, which takes determination and focus. I was diagnosed as having Attention Deficit Disorder whilst at university which explains a few things...one is having too many ideas. That in itself, can actually be unproductive. I'm a trained screenwriter and day job PA. Variety is key to keeping my life interesting. Juggling those things with being a mother, is somewhat challenging, yet bizarrely works for me. This job of designing shoes brings me joy. As a visual person, I think in colour. My designs are usually based on classic, old school styles that will never date, with an on trend twist. I salute people who set themselves apart and don't conform to the idea that to be fashionable we must wear what everyone else is wearing. Be bold. Be unique and lead from the front.
