About Nick Payne and Nic Hosking
Nick Payne: Director -
In Pasadena CA, mid 2000, me and my best friend/brother Dennis Wayne Austin Jr started the company Sumthin Nyce to collaborate across all genres of entertainment. When he passed away at age 32, with Lupus, I put the company on hold, reviving it in mid 2019.
My bro was big on fashion. I created Sumthin Nyce Footwear to honour his memory and keep him alive. ➡️➡️➡️➡️

I've always been a creator of sorts either through performance or writing and film.
I approached Nick through his existing entertainment company (Sumthin Nyce Entertainment) to form this collaboration. My dream of designing is finally realised.
My 'Pixi & Peta' range reaches out to the eco warriors of the world - vegan shoes that don't compromise on style or reason.
I'm all about standing up and standing out, hence the bold designs. There's some nostalgia in here...bringing retro classics into the twentieth century.
