INKAKAI are a masked and anonymous sextet of professional musicians with previous work with Max Martin, Lordi and Steve Vai. They describe their music as Imperial Core, sharply dynamic alternative rock with nu-metal and electronic music influences. Their trademark black and red colour scheme symbolizes their name Inkakai 陰火会 (shadow, fire, society) that originates from Japanese legends. Inka is one of the onibi ghost lights – spirits born from corpses that have become fire.
