The photos of the designer of the brand were the background for the music section of the magazine.

Specific banners featuring the shoes’ design—vertical and horizontal—appeared in the most important articles of the week.

The weeklong appearances provided great visibility for the brand.

About the brand and style of BITYSI Kickbacks

The BITYSI Kickbacks were created to pay homage to two of my all time favorite sneakers. Most sneakerheads should be able to see the inspiration right away. I choose Italian leather and suede for this Hightop and went with a marble sole to give it a luxurious finish. BITYSI Kickbacks are designed to be sporty yet comfortable: hence the name “Kickbacks”. I personally wore mine this summer. I may be biased, but these are my favorite shoes to date.

An Idea and a Design by Michael Pina

Born in MA and raised in New York, I developed a love for sneakers early on in life. Living in the fashion capital of the world, NYC, only fueled the fire to my passion. I grew up in a low income area, so luxury brands were just things I’d see in windowsills of high-end stores. Instead of writing myself off as if those brands were to good for me, I decided to create my own luxury brand to inspire youth who are currently living in the same economic situation I was as a child. BITYSI brand, an acronym for “Be It Til You See It”, was created to inspire confidence, patience, and perseverance.
