About the brand and style of Blue Onyx collection

NIC|COLE shoe line was birthed from my desire to leave a legacy for my two children. NIC comes from the first three letters of my son’s middle name while COLE comes from the last four letters of my daughter’s middle name. Blue Onyx design is special because it represents my love for the stone and was inspired by a picture of a beautiful Blue Onyx in a tribal stone with a blue base.

About the Kahmeel Callahan

Kahmeel Callahan, Born in Brooklyn, New York, of West Indian descent, design and innovation are a part of Kahmeel’s DNA. She always has been fashion forward, but Kahmeel’s talent for design was first recognized through art illustrations and cartoon drawings. It evolved to clothing when she learned to use a sewing machine while studying Business Management and Merchandising and Fashion Design. However, her spark for design fully ignited through her work at a boutique. The experience Kahmeel gained working intimately with customers, traveling to NY as a buyer, training, merchandising and leaving a fashion imprint in client’s lives was exhilarating. Though she has many roles, Kahmeel most identifies as a wife, mother and worshipper who enjoys creating, motivating and inspiring.
