An Idea and a Design by Renée Forbes-williams

Dr. Renee Forbes-Williams, CPA. Renee has been working in the fashion design industry for quite some time and has a unique story to share. After completing her master’s degree in Accounting, she began studying fashion design at Bauder College in South Florida and continued her studies at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. The invaluable experience gained from working within this design house and the challenges she faced shopping for her plus-sized daughter inspired her to fulfill her lifelong dream to launch her own clothing line, Jellybean Miami (JB Miami). When designing, she’s inspired by shape, architecture, and color. Every design for the Jellybean Miami line focused on flattering a plus-size child body. A few years later upon realizing her true passion in fashion and education, she started considering designing again. At that point she opened The Design House of Colour. (DHOC). As a company, DHOC mission provided professional, dependable garment printing, embellishment, and retail services along with the highest quality education through the latest technology. A few years later Renée decided to retire from DHOC and designing. However, her unique creative designs and her influencer fashion style continued to be in demand. So, she decided to continue designing and consulting.
