About the High Status Brand

High Status by Ernest Ruffin is a high fashion clothing brand. They are specialize in shoes, shirts, jeans, jackets and accessories. The High Status White Suede Sneakers is easily recognizable due to the leopard print and white suede. The Italian leather, cotton lace and metal eyelets embody high fashion. This is an old school basketball design inspired by the biggest American champions. Built with embossed details, breathing holes and a back pulling stripe for an easy fitting.

An idea and design created by Ernest Ruffin

Ernest started out painting on t-shirts in New Orleans, LA. He would spend hours making sure the handpainted designed represented the brand in the correct way. With a passion to be successful in fashion, he would make t-shirts and sell them from the trunk of his car. After finishing college, he decided it was time to share his sense of fashion with the world and created High Status by Ernest Ruffin. His personal work career began to take off and he was promoted and moved to California. During this time, the clothing line was placed on hold and just a year ago Ernest decided it was time to start rebranding the brand for something bigger.
