It’s another exclusive project published in a world-class magazine thanks to the PR Boost service by the AliveShoes team.

Our team aims to make designs from the AliveShoes platform visible in the most important national and international fashion magazines and to other important influencers.

JVLZ brand appeared on the GQ website for a week

Photos created by the brand were the background for the fashion, lifestyle and news sections of the online magazine. 

Specific banner featuring the design appeared in the week’s most important articles.

In the magazine’s main sections, there were vertical banners featuring the brand and the shoe photos.


About the brand and style of JVLZ

Named after myself, it is my name broken down. JVLZ! I want to be a brand for all walks of life. From the kid who wants to be Fresh Prince, to the OG Sneaker Head that grew up watching Fresh Prince. This design is one of many to come! The first design are nicknamed "Blue Trophies" to compliment the color way. Wanted to have a mixture of a street sneaker mixed with the running shoe look. To reach out to all walks of life! Hope you guys enjoy, put my heart and soul into designing these.

About the man behind the brand: Jonathan Velez

My name is Jonathan "Jonah" Velez, I'm a young 28 year old who has always been into fashion and sneakers. Born in the Birthplace of Basketball; Springfield, MA. Growing up in an urban neighborhood, going to school it was always who had the best sneakers. Sophomore year in High School I started working at a local sneaker store called "Expressions". And from then on my love for sneakers grew even further, so designing my own pair has always been a dream come true.
