Fashion research and inspiration draws inspiration from Keisha Rob's mother, who has worked in the fashion industry for over forty years. The result? A creative designer who likes to step outside the box, standing out from the rest of the crowd. Her strong personality influences her brand and this certainly cannot go unnoticed ...

Here is the interview we did with her:

If you had to introduce yourself, how would you talk about yourself? 

I am Keisha Robinson, I was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. I currently reside in NC with my two sons Kwaneef and Ja'Mir. I attended Virginia State University where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, and I also hold a Masters Degree in Psychology. I´ve always had a vision of creating my very own shoe designs one day due to me loving shoes and sneakers. I'm a true shoe lover!

Where does your passion for fashion come from?

The inspiration behind my pursue to join the fashion industry stems from my mother who labored in the fashion industry for over forty years. Therefore, I followed my mother's lead which made me love fashion even more. I like to express, create and stand out from the rest of the crowd. I feel as though, if you look good, you feel good.

How did you get into the platform?

Because I've always had a passion for fashion, that lead me to this platform. My style has always been very unique. and it is displayed in my distinctive and signature styles.

Where do you draw inspiration from to make your products?

I am a creative designer, and I always think outside of the box. When I think of a design, I think eclectic fashion with artistic expression for a redefined style.

What do you think a pair of shoes can convey?What a person chooses to wear on their feet, can tell you a lot about a person and their overall style. The first thing a person will notice is your shoes, because they are making a BOLD statement.

What are your brand values and identity?

My brand values and identify tells you who I am as a fashion designer by the visual and content of my footwear.

How do you imagine your collection in the future?

I envision my collection in the future to capture the eyes of a audience of all ages and genres that's not scared to try something that's very unique in order to show their true authentic self. I want my designs to one day be worn by some of the top celebrities.

How was your collection born and how does your personality influence the brand?

My collection was born when I was furlough from my job when the pandemic hit. I told myself, fashion is your passion. So step out on faith, and pursue your dreams, and that's exactly what I did. My personality influence my brand because whatever I put on my feet is an attention seeker and shows my unique personality and impeccable style.

What do you think of the union between Italy and the United States?

The Italian industry continues to flourish and has given the U.S. fashion designers an opportunity to showcase their talents as well.
